

I found it interesting and engaging, from start to finish. The things she said and the way she presented herself really made you think about life and yourself. Reading along, as we were told about Elizabeth was interesting, as we got to know her more, you actually felt you knew yourself more. She is unique, clever and has a way of representing the world that is both honest and refreshingly thought-provoking. The writing is gloriously beautiful, full of stunning details and honestly pulls you into the story so much. My Thoughts:I haven’t read a book in this genre in a while, and this has reminded me why I need to dive into the genre more often. and will change Neil's view of the world forever. But Elizabeth was much more than a scholar. Tasked with unpacking her notebooks after her death, Neil encounters once again Elizabeth's astonishing ideas on the past and on how to make sense of the present.
